Could there be a better way to start of your summer than spending it in a hidden getaway just few hours outside Manila. The whole DLSZ community went to Club Balai Isabel, Talisay Batangas last April 14-15 for PEP and Summer outing. It was my first Lake experience and my first time also to be that close to Taal volcano.

Shorts are now becoming a trend, not only for girls, but for guys too. Boys would always like it to be cool and comfortable. Boys wearing shorts that are 3 inches above the knee had evidently risen in the past years.
Since I am shorter than the usual average height of a guy, I wear shorts that are above the knee. (Why?) Wearing shorts that are 3-4 inches above your knee will make you look taller, long and fit. Many people would say that men will look feminine if they wear shorts above the knee, I say it’s how a guy carries himself confidently without looking womanish or soft.

The Pahayagang Plaridel of De La Salle University – Taft spearheaded the Baylayn 2016 happened last February 6, Saturday. It was an annual event that features some of the respected writers, photographers and journalists to talk about their expertise and share it with the youth. Though we did not bring any awards for our school, we still enjoyed every bit of our time and experience at DLSU.
